Grilling Season isn't done yet! - Grilled Lemon/Oregano Marinated Pork Chops

We are having beautiful September weather and we need to take advantage of it--gardening, golfing, and grilling.  Oh look!  3G!  Also, my herb pot could be in its last days at any time, so any herbs I can use up, I'm going to.  So I gathered up some fresh oregano along with a few other things.

This marinade has some of my favorite flavors--garlic, lemon and oregano.  Add some salt, pepper, and olive oil and you are good to go.

Stir it up, plop the (I use thick cut) pork chops in.

Turn them over.

Cover and let them marinate.  The  recipe says at least 2 hours or overnight.  I rarely think far enough ahead for overnight but usually at least let them marinate for an afternoon.

Grill them and it's dinner!  I slightly overcooked them this time though :-(  Still tasty, just not quite as juicy.

I can in no way take credit for this recipe. (although certainly I can take credit for execution!)  I basically use this one from Allrecipes.com
