Caldarello Sausage and Sauerkraut

I can't take credit for any of this, but since this is about What's Happening in Merri's Kitchen, this also happened today.

Caldarello is a local company, and their sausage is incredible (www.caldarello.com).  I have sauerkraut from my CSA, Fair Share Farm--and it is the best sauerkraut I have ever had.  I also had a container of French mustard that I was dying to try.  Amora is a mustard that was the subject of a recent blog post by David Libovitz (www.davidlibovitz.com) and when I was recently ordering from an online French food purveyor I saw they had it and order a bottle.

In any case, since I had to roast some red peppers that were in my fridge, I decided to throw the Italian sausage ring on the grill as well.

And then I had it with sauerkraut and mustard.

Well, not the whole thing.  There's another meal or so in there.
