Rice bowl with Thai flavors

I had some leftover tri-tip from the lunch the other day that I wanted to use.  I didn't have any lettuce, so couldn't make Thai beef salad, but I decided to use the same flavors for a rice bowl.

I made up this dressing, but doubled it as I wanted it to be a sauce of sorts.

2 Tablespoons Lime juice
1 Tablespoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon lemongrass paste
1 teaspoon chili paste
1 tsp sugar
2 chopped green onions

Then I sliced the beef into strips and poured the dressing over it and let it sit while I did other things.

Oops, I forgot the green onions.

Then I chopped up a whole bunch of Thai basil, cilantro, and mint.

Heated up some Trader Joe's brown rice, and added the beef and dressing to the bowl.  Added the herbs, and I had lunch.
